hi guys,

first off, i love your site and look forward to my weekly newsletters! what i want to know is, what happened to the previews when hovering over a thumbnail. i found them a very feature.

it still does that at least in ie 6 on a pc

And on firefox on pc...

And on Mac (FF, Safari, Opera and IE) as well.
Though I too had sometimes problems with them showing, but I figured it was because I tempered with my preferences.

What system are you using, plus what kind of browser?
Furthermore, check if in you preferences the use of floating thumbs is set to 'yes'.

Then again, am behind my laptop right now, indeed no floating thumbs, in Internet Explorer.
Firefox doesn't show this problem nor does Opera.

The problem doesn't seem to occur in 'latest images'.

I'm looking at the site in IE6 under Windows XP and I can't replicate the error - everywhere the floating thumbnails are working (see attached screenshot). Stefan, could you check again and give me your OS / browser settings? Could anyone else tell me if they have this problem using Internet Explorer?

Running Win XP Home Edition, IE6.02

The problem was that the floating thumbnails won't show untill every thumbnail on the page is showing (and I had it set to 240, which took a little while to load). So, problem solved!

There is something else - minor though - showing in IE6; the magnifier goes to the next line, causing the red block to be bigger than it should (see attachment).

That's because you're using a slightly modified XP theme - all of your controls are a bit larger than normally (see attached example). Because the navigation options are packed tightly together, they can't handle the extra space needed for your larger controls.

Anyway, I've tweaked the navigation menus a bit so there is more space left around them - could you check if it works?

Hi mattroch, the problem you described is now fixed.

I will spare you the technical details, but it was a nasty bug in the Clippings page that only showed itself when you'd selected "large thumbnails" on a different page. Thanks for spotting it

Btw I saw in your profile that you're from Winnipeg, Canada. One of my favorite ska-bands hails from your town - the "Royal Winnipeg Porn Orchestra". Ever heard of them?
